Every credit union member starts with a
Share Savings account. It establishes your
credit union membership and is the perfect
place to begin saving money. We'll even

Our Spirit Checking account is built
specifically for youth members. You get a
FREE account with unlimited check writing,
e-statements, and your first box of checks
free. Overdraft Protection is available when
you turn 19.
At age 13 you get an ATM card so you can get
cash from any ATM, anywhere. At 16, you can
upgrade to a Visa debit card, allowing you
to make purchases right at the register.
Line of Credit
At 13, you qualify for a $100 line of
credit. That means that if you're a bit
short of cash, you can instantly borrow
money by transferring it into your checking
account. At 16, you can increase your limit
to $500. At 18, the limit can be increased
according to your credit score. (You will
need a parent or guardian co-signer on your
line of credit until age 18.)
